Simply Irresistable...

Happy 2011! 

I'm excited to be starting a new year... it means, new chances, new choices, new friends, new places...

I've never been a "resolution" kindof girl, but this year I made some in my heart.... I'll share them with you now....

I've decided to:
*be true to my best self....find that person & live her to the fullest...
*get happy with my body
*more fully develop my existing friendships & seek out new ones
*travel more
*adventure more
*live more - absorb life more fully - spend more time living & less time just existing
*show the people I love, how much I love them, through my actions more than my words

The other day that song by Robert Palmer "Simply Irresistible" came on the radio. And I thought, that is what I want to be. Simply irresistible to the people around me. Irresistible because I glow with a deep seeded happiness that is bubbling up from within. A happiness that has come from taking charge of my life...owning it. Making changes, whatever they may be, to promote my current & future happiness. For me, that means, stepping out of the staleness of the routines or bad habits that have come to define my life. Pushing myself to try new things, even things I don't like. Committing to taking care of myself to the best of my ability...with no excuses. I want to fill my own cup first so that I may nourish others from the overflow.
